We have an opportunity for a School Administrator at this happy, two form entry primary school. This is a full-time, permanent role, term-time plus 15 days (210 days per year). This is a varied and busy job at the heart of the school, and a candidate with previous school administration experience would be desirable.
The postholder will be responsible for:
Day to day management of the administration systems
Maintaining pupil data including attendance / registers
Providing first aid for pupils
Organising the school calendar
Administering the Lunch Order system
Managing Visitors on site
First contact for parents and enquiries by telephone and email
Providing administrative support for school trips
Administration of communications with families
Liasing with supply agencies
The governors are committed to the safeguarding of children and therefore the successful candidate will be required to apply for enhanced clearance from the Disclosure and Barring Service. There will also be an expectation that the individual will attend training in basic Child Protection and First Aid (if not already qualified).
The successful candidate will be resilient, committed and have great organisational skills, being able to work independently in this small, busy office. Experience of Arbor is advantageous, training can be provided. Please see the job description for full details.
