Jubilee Explorers – Opening January 2027

Welcome to Jubilee Explorers, our brand‑new early years provision designed to give young children the best possible start to their learning journey. We open in January 2027, offering places for children born before 31 December 2024.

Jubilee Explorers provides a nurturing, play‑rich environment where children grow in confidence, curiosity and independence. Our experienced early years team creates a warm, stimulating space where every child is known, valued and supported.

Children can join Jubilee Explorers from the term after their 2nd birthday, giving families a flexible and supportive early start to childcare and education. 

We are open term time only, for 38 weeks a year and do not provide care in school holidays.

Childcare Funding

We are proud to offer a range of government funded childcare options for families in England:

• 30 hours childcare for eligible working families
• 15 hours childcare for all families of 3‑ and 4‑year‑olds
• 15 hours childcare for 2‑year‑olds for eligible families

We also accept Tax‑Free Childcare payments, helping families reduce the cost of their nursery place.

Our Approach

At Jubilee Explorers, children learn through hands‑on exploration, outdoor play, creative experiences and high‑quality interactions with skilled practitioners. Our curriculum supports:

• Communication and language
• Early social and emotional development
• Physical development
• Early literacy and numeracy foundations
• Independence, resilience and curiosity

Sessions and Fees

The below costs and sessions are provisional, while we complete planning and understand the number of children who are able to take up places.

Government Funded Sessions

15 hours - children attending 15 hours can attend 8.45am to 11.45am Monday to Friday.

30 hours - children attending 30 hours can attend 8.45am to 3.15pm Monday to Thursday, and 8.45am to 12.45pm Friday.

Friday afternoon - we offer a Friday afternoon session from 12.45pm to 3.15pm at a cost of £15 for 3.5 hours. This is not within the government funded hours.

Lunches - Children staying for lunch must bring a nut-free packed lunch.

Additional Sessions

30 hours (8.45am to 3.15pm Monday to Thursday, and 8.45am to 12.45pm Friday):

• Top up from 15 hours funding - £60
• Full cost (no funding available) - £120
• Friday afternoon - 12.45pm to 3.15pm - £15

• Explorer's Breakfast Sessions: 8am to 8.45am - £6 (includes food) (bookable Monday to Friday)
• Explorer's Late Sessions:

  • 3.15pm to 5.45pm - £15
