30 Hour Provision

All 3 and 4 year old children in England are eligible for 15 hours of childcare per week. This makes up 3 hours a day in either our AM or PM Nursery class. Working parents may also be eligible for 15 additional funded hours, totaling 30 hours a week of childcare.

We are now able to offer 30 hours funded places here at Wallsend Jubilee Primary School. You can visit Childcare Choices for more information and to check if you might be eligible. If you are eligible, you can apply here.

Once you have applied, you will receive an 11 digit code which you will give to the school to access the full 30 hours of Nursery. Codes must be re-confirmed every 3 months to remain eligible for this provision.

Sessions for children accessing the 30-hour offer will begin at 8.45am until 3.30pm with no additional cost for the extra time over lunchtime.  

For those eligible for 15 hours funding, morning sessions run from 8.45 to 11.45am and afternoon sessions run from 12.30 to 3.30pm.
