Welcome back year 4, we hope you all have had a relaxing Christmas break and are ready to continue your learning journey.
In Theme, the topic is now Victorians and we are looking forward to a trip to Beamish when the weather gets a bit warmer. Please look at the Curriculum map for other interesting areas of learning.
Please note the changes to P.E timetables. Indoor is now on a Monday and outdoor on a Wednesday. Please ensure your child has a full outdoor PE kit as it is extremely chilly outside.
As always please don't hesitate to contact us if you have any queries.
We have been using Scratch to programme a presentation. You can use this programme at home online. Have a go!
We have been designing, making and evaluating our peg dolls, after learning all about the toys and games Victorian children played.
Gentle reminder; Please can PE kits be left in school for each half term so we can be flexible with our PE lessons. Many Thanks.
Many thanks for all your efforts with World Book Day costumes, the children look fantastic!
Fantasic day at Tyne Met college for #tynetogether2019 . Our year 4 children were fantastic. Well done for making it to the finals !
Year 4 have worked very hard to put on a fantastic assembly to showcase what they have been up to this term.
Class trip to Beamish
Year 4 enjoyed a trip to Beamish to support this term's theme of the Victorians.
2019 Dance Festival
We had a fantastic time at Whitley Bay Playhouse for this year's dance festival. This year's theme was musicals and we worked hard alongside Mrs Oliver and Mrs Taylor to create a fantastic routine to 'We go together' from our favourite musical Grease.
