Remote Education

Year 3, we have made it. Today is your last day of home-learning. We are so unbelievably proud of each and every one of you!
I just want to take this time to say a massive THANK YOU for all of your extremely, and very appreciated hard work over the last 9 weeks (I know, it probably feels a whole lot longer). I am in awe at the way that you have all juggled home-schooling, home life, work commitments and general worries throughout this global pandemic. I know it hasn’t always been easy for you all; you may not have completed all the tasks set every day, you may have let your child have more screen time than usual or eat too many snacks but please know that we are extremely proud of the effort that you have all put in over the past weeks. You have kept your child happy and safe and for that we are extremely grateful. Both myself, Mrs Miller and Mrs Oliver are looking forward to welcoming your child back to school on Monday morning.

Friday's Task

This morning spend some time thinking about all of the effort that your Mum's, Dad's, Grandma's, Grandad's or even siblings have put into your home-schooling over the past few weeks. This hasn't always been easy for them. I want you to spend today making a thank you card to someone who has helped you throughout this period of time at home. Once you have made your thank you card I want you to spend some time giving back in some way. Is there a way that you can help Mum? Maybe tidy your bedroom or hunt out your uniform ready for Monday? Could Dad use a hand with the dishes? Make the most of the last (hopefully) home-schooling day at home with your loved ones!!!!!!!

Extending Your Own Learning
If you have completed your work and want to push yourself and extend your understanding within a subject, why not have a go at some self-directed learning.
Attached is a PDF with links to lots of different educational websites for all of the subjects and topics you are learning about.
Think about which subject or topic you want to learn more about or become better at and click on the relevant link to find some lessons, activities or games to complete:
If you have any questions please contact Miss Cowen or Mrs Miller.
