Reading and Phonics Scheme of work

In early years and Key Stage One phonics is taught daily using the Read Write Inc Phonics scheme.
Phonics and spelling are then continued in Key Stage 2 through the Read Write Inc Spelling programme.

Reciprocal Reading is a style of teaching taught to support our children to both read and understand the texts they read. We use a range of reading schemes including: Ginn, Oxford Project x, Phonics Bug, Dandelion, Cambridge, Treetops, Heinemann Story Worlds, Puffin paper backs and a range of free readers.
